Kristen Shelley-Chapin is an attorney and owner of Shelley-Chapin Law.  Kristen practices primarily in the areas of Estate Planning and Probate Law.  She serves the Shawnee community as well as surrounding areas and has had her office located in downtown Shawnee for over 11 years.

Prior to joining her husband in private practice, Kristen worked at the Johnson County District Attorney’s office as an Assistant District Attorney.  There she prosecuted juvenile, domestic violence and drug cases.

Kristen currently serves as Vice President Friends of Shawnee Town and has sat on that board for four years.  She is also a member of the Shawnee Rotary Club, Shawnee Chamber of Commerce and Johnson County Bar Association. 

In her free time Kristen enjoys coaching her daughters’ softball teams, and attending all their other activities.
